Day 19: Do you have an activity that makes you feel alive and good within yourself?
I know I’ve already mentioned it a few times on other days but I have to say karate, again lol! I love training in karate and since I got my black belt I discovered that I loved teaching karate to others, especially children. I get a real sense of joy from teaching children their katas (sequences of moves that are practiced and then performed at grading to earn belts.) Watching a child perfect a move and thinking “Yes they’ve got it, I taught them that!” is a great moment. I also enjoy being a student, my sensei has taught me from white belt when I was 12 years old and I still feel like I learn something new most sessions =)
