Yep, I’ve messed up. I forgot the last 2 days of my journal and I am barely getting this one done before midnight. A lot is going on this week, I hope to explain more in a later blog post. I am thankful for the opportunities that life sometimes throws at us!

Today my brother came home for Christmas. We ended up having a long chat about what we both want to do next with our lives, it really helped me see things more clearly! So today I’m thankful for my family and for life itself, we only get one!

Gratitude Journal: Day 18
Today I am thankful for Christmas spirit! I wasn’t feeling it earlier today, I’d been tasked with putting the tree up, something I used to love doing but today it felt like a chore. I went to karate, our last lesson of 2014 and all the kids were so happy and excited that it rubbed off on me! My brother is coming home from uni tomorrow, looks like it will be a nice family Christmas =)

Today I am thankful for music and comedy shows. I’m still looking for a new job and going through all my options. Every time I hit a problem or get a rejection I can almost feel it chipping away at me. I know I just need to be patient, not something that comes easy to me! In the meantime comedy and music are helping me stay upbeat =)

Today I’m thankful for the mad way that the world works sometimes! Sometimes when something is meant to be (or isn’t meant to be!) things just fall into place! No doubt I’ll be writing a full post about this soon, maybe tomorrow and then my rambling will hopefully make more sense. Firstly today I am thankful for the forgiveness of my cyber friends… Yep this post is late, apologies! Its been a busy day! Today I’ve looked into the idea of moving away from home in order to get out of my current work situation and to find a decent job, as there is nothing at all in my local area. The prospect scares and excites me at the same time, so I’m cautiously looking into it. Today I am thankful for:
- The advice of my friends. You’ve all kept me sane the last few days, thank you! ❤
- A fresh start. Whether its at home or further away, I am getting myself a new job!
